Anthropologist of Roman origin, since 2008 she works in the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Catania and collaborates with Impact HUB in Sicily. His research interests include education, intercultural governance at school and post-catastrophe reconstruction policies and practices. It does research on emergency regimes and disaster risk management policies. In recent years it has been dealing with environmental crises and social movements, in Sri Lanka at the edge of the Yala National Park and in Sicily in the Syracuse petrochemical center. Having grown for fourteen years in a township, she has always tried to combine the passion for research with social commitment and cultural promotion.
