He calls himself “a human being, with his faults but also his merits”. Graduated and PhD in chemistry, he teaches at a high school in Syracuse and collaborates with the University of Catania. He deals with the environment, chemistry, training and environmental sustainability. He is the president of the Syracuse Zero Waste Association and a journalist for a local newspaper, “La Civetta di Minerva”, which investigates and investigates. Salvo has published about fifty articles in national and international specialized magazines on the conservation of cultural heritage and environmental issues, participating in various seminars and conferences.
