The guest at lunch is Francesco Guccione

Producer of biodynamic wines in Monreale, Francesco Guccione, comes from a family that has practiced viticulture for several generations. Since 2005, with the recovery of a part of the family vineyards, Francesco has been practicing biodynamic agriculture, intended as a privileged way to recover the ancient traditions of the territory. Also for this reason he decided not to use additives, enzymes or added bacteria, letting the must ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and giving up modern technologies. His wines are the expression of the Belice Valley territory, and the fruit of the relationship between the winemaker and his land. Francesco will tell us how and why to bet on soil management and soil texture with a natural approach that sees the plant inserted between the sky and the earth. A unique opportunity to understand the path of Sicilian biodynamic wines.
