Startup Europe Week
The European Startup Week is an initiative launched by the European Commission for include all regions in a collaborative program focused on Startup support.
Startup Europe Week (SEW) is an annual meeting point where all regions of Europe and bodies involved in funding and initiatives for start-ups meet with interested communities.
SEW 2016 took place simultaneously in Europe, in the week from 1 to 5 February 2016.
220+ venues in over 40 countries: the largest event promoted by the European Commission to support entrepreneurs and innovation.
Syracuse was one of the accredited venues to host Startup Europe Week and Impact Hub Syracuse was the location selected by the Commission. The appointment held at Impact Hub Syracuse took place according to the following schedule:
– Presentation of Startup Europe Week and European initiatives in support of Startups
– Mapping of local ecosystem actors to support startups
– Working Tables and networking of initiatives for startups in the area
– Meetings between Invitalia and startups interested in incentives and financing.
